| Alco-Manchester built this cute little 0-6-0 yard switcher in May of 1906 as Northern Pacific #1045 (serial #39533). In September of 1957, the switcher was assigned to the Tacoma Divesion a year before it was retired. The loco served for nearly 52 years before meeting up with the scrapper's torch in July of 1958. The photo was taken by Gene Harsch. No date or location was listed for the photo so an "guess-timate" date and location was given for posting. |
