Description:
Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Columbus, Ohio, on 21 August 1956. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6496, a J-1A (2-10-4) "Texas" built in Juniata during May of 1943 and retired in April of 1958 after just 15 years oh revenue service. It is pulling a single N-5C cabin car whose number is not recorded.
