Title:
Turning the power
Description:
This power set was working through the plant at Fostoria, and would shortly head to the yard on the ex B&O Chicago main to pick up train 397 for Detroit. Were looking east on the NS ex NKP line. That's the B&O Fostoria tower at left, which was still active at the time.

Title:
Too late
Description:
This 396 showed up as the shadows were falling, and I was not able to get it in good sun. Still, a Chessie family portrait was too good to pass up, as the three units represented the three components of the Chessie System, even though the leader has been renumbered, that were slowly disappearing into CSX. The B&O GP 30 was a nice touch too.
