Number 5069 was built by Baldwin in June 1917 (c/n 45702) and sold for scrap in September 1953. The date and location chosen based on the February 1, 1952 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet. The locomotive looks pretty tidy,so figuring out its last class shopping date might pinpoint the date of this photo, and maybe the Galesburg roundhouse in the background? |
