Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5843 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #5843 was constructed in August of 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. In this context, they're awaiting their next passenger run to Pittsburgh and points West.
