DENVER CO July 2 1978 -- Rio Grande SW1000 143 handles switching duties at North Yard. EMD built the 143 (s/n 32178) in October 1966. It was retired by Southern Pacific on Oct 3 1991, went to Omnitrax in 1995 and then to Camas Prairie in 1998 as CSP 143. It was retired in 2004, went to IR and then to GFRR.
