A pair of like-painted blue GP7s with very different backgrounds; C&EI 96 was originally C&EI 232, later MP 1636. MP 308 was originally StLB&M 4163, later MP 1759. Northbound at WR tower. Date approximate.

Scott Bruce General 308 has what looks like a factory low nose. To my knowledge, no GP7s were built that way. Is 308 really a GP9 or maybe got wrecked and rebuilt with a low nose by EMD? 7/27/2012 5:44:41 AM
