Title:
SLSF 4-4-0 #94 - St Louis-San Francisco (Frisco)
Description:
Cooke Locomotive & Machine Works built this 4-4-0 as Kansas City Osceola & Southern Railway 10 and named "John J. Blair" in 1894 and was one of the smallest 8-wheelers ever built for American railroads. It was in the Frisco designated class 44 and had 60" drivers and developed only 155 psi boiler pressure. Even so, it was "dismissed from services" in 1934 after 41 years. This may be another handmade photo copied from an original print.

This is an 1902 example from the Pittsburgh Locomotive Works, the Frisco class 182, with 69" drivers and developing 180 psi boiler pressure. Looks like it's heading up a passenger train this day.
