While it's now a Union Pacific train at this time,Southern Pacific practices were still in effect However,That would change in just a month's time.

Description:  Taken circa 1998, SD40T-2 heads up a train at Pueblo. Although wearing SP paint, 5397 is sublettered for D&RGW. Having been built in August 1978, it would wear this sublettered SP scheme for a few years in the late 1990s. It would briefly be numbered UP 8590 for four months in 2001. It would be sold to Susquehanna in 2002 and numbered 3010.
