Description:  I caught the northbound at the Ark 59B crossing up by Little Debbie, with a KCSM leader. I went downtown to try to get the head end of the grain train passing the rear of the Q train, but too many people who cant get out of their own way blocked me. Oh, well....

Title:  3 Trains Loaded Up at Spear
Description:  Colorful day at KCS's Spear Jct. CP 8886 is the DPU on a SB grain train lead by CP 7021, KCSM 4539 is the leader of a NB empty grain train, and KCS 4802 is the leader of a NB manifest that departed E. Spear just as soon as CP 8886's train cleared. All in all, five Class I railroads can be seen in this shot.

Title:  Breakfast chase
Description:  We'd gone to breakfast at Miss Marys in Gentry, where we can get a table that has a view of the tracks. This northbound empty coal train was in the siding while we ate. As we were leaving, the southbound it was meeting came through, so we chased the northbound up to Decatur, catching it at Fleyd Moore Rd with its Mexican leader.

Description:  This one is a little closer up, still getting a good cut of sky, but not so much barn. Love the colors and contrast with the blue of the winter sky. Pretty good for a grab shot out the windshield with a phone camera.
