Title:
M 3s from Hempstead
Description:
The Bellerose station was served by Hempstead Branch trains. This one has just made its stop and is now waiting for the signal at Queens, as it needs to cross all the way over to track 4 to make Queens Village and Hollis on its way to Jamaica and Brooklyn. The M 3 set we are looking at was almost new in 1987.

Title:
M 3s
Description:
Bellerose was a great place to see the action on the Main Line as it crossed the Queens-Nassau county line. Besides diesel trains, there was also a lot of MU action. This train is westbound from Hempstead with a set of then new M 3 cars, about to enter the plant at Queens interlocking.
