Memorable Moment |

Every picture has a story behind it, and this one is no exception. As usual, after class I went and checked the lights at Victoria St and thankfully it was green. So I decided to head over to Lexington Industrial Park to take advantage of the snow that was coming down. It wasn't long before I heard a low ominous bass off in the distance, shortly after I heard the distinctive sound of a horn. After a few minutes I then heard the low bass get much louder, a sure sign L517 was at Cardigan West climbing up grade. It got louder and more rich as the power got closer, it sounded like an older EMD, and was music to my ears. However, I still didn't know what the power was until I saw the gates at Lexington Ave drop and the lead unit exposed itself. Seconds later I got the shot you see above. It just goes to show that patience is well worth it! |
