Sweetland. Here is a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in Hyndman, Pennsylvania, in March of 1961. It was published originally in his (2000) book entitled "Pennsylvania Railroad Color Pictorial: Volume One ~ Altoona To New York City," page 57. Partial Caption: "'Ike' and 'Mike,' as they were later called, were pulling cars from the B&O interchange at Hyndman, Pa., in March 1961. The Baltimore & Ohio station in the background was situated along its main tracks." Prominent here (R to L) are PRR engines #5595 and #5597. Both are BS-7M switchers built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as BS-7's in May of 1950, rated at 750 horsepower each, and later rebuilt as BS-7M's. In this context, they're on their way back to Altoona ~ via Hollidaysburg ~ with the "Cumberland Local." |

It eventually landed on the CSX roster first as CSX 6266 and later renumbered CSX 6939. It was last photographed for the RRPA database in 2008. Current disposition is unknown.
