Viewing Album:  The Depot Inside The Wye: June 2013

Album Info:Over 70 new photos, mostly from my favorite place to railfan; the Vancouver Washington depot. The depot is literally surrounded in the middle of a wye, double-tracked on each leg, that connects BNSF's very busy Seattle and Fallbridge Subdivisions. Along with BNSF traffic, there are 8 daily Amtrak trains, and UP and PNWR have trackage rights on this portion of the Seattle line. This album will also include a few shots from my ride home on Amtrak #507 on the 5th which include the nearly impossible to photograph former Oregon Electric Drawbridge near Harrisburg, OR.
